I am writing this letter to highly recommend Cindy Phillips. Cindy was my REALTOR®, who worked with me for almost a year while I went through the process of buying my first home. During this time, I found her to be professional, courteous and honest. Being a first time homebuyer, it was very important for me to have someone who is not only patient and understanding, but knowledgeable as well, and Cindy is all of those things.
Cindy always kept me informed and comfortable. I believe she was working for what was best for me, not just for “a sale”. At one point, she had an opportunity to be both the listing and the selling agent in my transaction. However, when my offer turned out not to be accepted, Cindy explained my options to me and let me make my decision. When I decided to rescind my offer, she supported and agreed with my decision.
Cindy then told me of another house in my price range for which she was not the listing agent. When I decided to make an offer on that house, the entire transaction proved to be long and very difficult for me. But because of Cindy’s expertise and patience, I made it through, relatively unscathed.
During that trying time, I found my mortgage company to be very difficult and non-cooperative. They often failed to answer phone calls, or provided me with vague information. Cindy worked as my advocate; she was persistent, while remaining calm and professional. She did not accept the mortgage company’s incomplete answers and was able to get results for me. Even after my house sale closed and Cindy no longer had a legal obligation to me, she continued to help me with details the mortgage company had failed to complete correctly. In fact, I still call Cindy when I have questions, some six months after closing.
I have referred my friends to Cindy, and they have also been very pleased with her service. I would not only do business with Cindy in the future, I will keep referring people to her, as I feel she is an outstanding real estate agent.
